Dr Marc George MRCP, PhD provides expert, holistic management of patients with hypertension and a range of acute & general medical problems.
He is a consultant physician at uclh where he is the clinical lead for the Hypertension clinic and works on the acute medical take and general internal medical ward.
He is an Honorary Associate Professor in the UCL Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences & lead for the Use Of Medicines module in the UCL Medical School.
Private clinics are at The Physicians Clinic in the heart of London's private medical district. Private inpatients are at The Princess Grace Hospital.
Clinics are Monday afternoon and evenings, however other times are available upon request. He is also available for video and telephone consultation.

Dr George is the clinical lead for hypertension services at the large central London teaching hospital uclh.
He vice-chairs the pan-London specialist hypertension committee and has authored several regional Blood Pressure (BP) guidelines.
He frequently lectures on the management of hypertension and enrols patients into cutting-edge clinical trials.
He is a blood pressure specialist with a wealth of experience managing: Initial diagnosis and treatment / Young-onset hypertension / Secondary hypertension (Due to underlying medical causes) / Resistant hypertension (BP not controlled with 3 or more medicines) / Drug intolerances and allergies / Peri-operative BP management / Hypertensive emergencies / Post-partum hypertension
In addtion he considers holistic cardiovascular risk management including cholesterol lowering

Dr George is an experienced acute and general physician with particular expertise in diagnostic uncertainty and patients with multiple symptoms, comorbidities and polypharmacy (being on several medications).
As a Clinical Pharmacologist he reviews medicines together with the patient to weigh their intended benefits against potential adverse effects.
Dr George works closely with colleagues at The Physicians Clinic and a wider network of specialists and can quickly refer on if required.
He looks after acutely unwell private patients at The Princess Grace Hospital and can arrange urgent admission if required.
